Kiln shell infrared scanning system
Model: BTS-VI
Kiln shell infrared scanning system is an infrared line scanner system purposely designed for rotary kiln applications. The package enables accurate non contact kiln shell temperature monitoring, lining and coating thickness evaluation, tyre slip and thermal warp calculation.
It uses infrared sensor to check continuously the temperature of all areas of a kiln to create a thermal profile, letting management monitor kiln thermal profiles in real time. It’s the complete solution for kiln shell monitoring. Our series of infrared line scanners define a new generation of infrared measuring technology based on the WINDOWS operating system.
The BTS-V system provides on-line measurement of kiln-shell temperature distribution. Its purpose is to help kiln operators to ensure proper kiln-shell safety and lining durability.
Technical Data:
Standard Temperature Range:100℃~600℃
Optical resolution((SRF@90%):256∶1
Spot-Detection(SRF@50%): 300∶1
Spectral Range(No Filter): 3.5~4
Scanning Rate(Scan-Speed):20(Hz)
Scanning degree(°): 90°
Measurement Accuracy: ±1% or±1℃
Repeatability: ±1% or±1℃
IR-Detector Type, Te-Cooler: HgCdTe
Number of samples(90°): 1600
Power: 170~264V AC
This BTS-VI system utilizes a high-speed infrared line scanner for measuring of the kiln shell temperatures. The scanner head is placed in a protective cabinet, along with some processing and communication electronics. The same cabinet is then connected to a PC computer system.
Our Infrared line scanner reduces the costs of thermal and refractory consumption, and reduces equipment stops through increasing kiln availability and assisting maintenance staff in planning overhauls.
